Ganymede Comparison Kit
Ganymede and its Extrait share a name and a perfumer, Quentin Bisch, but the top notes barely overlap. The EDP opens bright with saffron and mandarin. The Extrait swaps that out almost entirely for incense and myrrh, keeping only the mandarin as a bridge between them.
From there they diverge further. The EDP's heart runs through osmanthus and violet leaf before landing on a suede and patchouli base. The Extrait strips the heart down to pure immortelle and rebuilds the base around akigalawood and safraleine, denser and more resinous throughout.
Same house signature, two different directions. Worth trying both before deciding which one is actually yours.
What's in this kit
Ganymede EDP: the original. Saffron and mandarin over an osmanthus heart, settling into a clean suede base.
Ganymede Extrait: the intensified sibling. Incense and myrrh over pure immortelle, built on a denser akigalawood and safraleine base.
